Our Story
A Family-Owned Damage Restoration Company Since 1974
Andrews & Sons Restoration was founded in 1974 by Andrew and Patricia Sinay with a simple mindset: treat every home like it belongs to family. That principle still guides our damage restoration company today.
Each project is approached with care, thoughtful planning, and steady communication so homeowners feel supported from the first conversation through the final walkthrough.

Our History
From a Family Trade to a Full Team
What began as a family-run operation in 1974 has grown steadily over decades of hands-on work and long-term customer relationships. In 2012, Matthew Sinay took over the business and began expanding its capabilities to meet the full scope of modern restoration needs.
Growth accelerated in recent years as the company embraced water damage, reconstruction, and specialty cleaning as one coordinated process. While the team is larger today, the approach remains personal. Calls are answered directly, projects are carefully planned, and homeowners are kept informed throughout the work. The goal has never been to rush jobs or apply quick fixes, but to leave homes better than they were found, whether the project involves major damage or routine cleaning.
Our Approach
How We Take Care of Homes
Every home and situation is different, which is why restoration should never feel rushed or impersonal. As a family-owned restoration team, the focus is always on careful work, clear planning, and keeping homeowners informed.
- Thoughtful assessment before any work begins
- A clear plan of action tailored to the situation
- Ongoing updates so homeowners know what to expect
- Care was taken to protect the home during every phase
By treating each project with patience and respect, homeowners receive more than repairs. They gain confidence that the work is being done carefully, correctly, and with their best interests in mind.
Our Work
Restoration and Cleaning Services
Andrews & Sons Restoration is a licensed and insured restoration company that serves both residential and commercial clients with a wide range of services. This includes emergency water damage response, drying and restoration, leak repair, reconstruction, and specialty cleaning for hardwood, stone, tile, carpeting, area rugs, and upholstery.
Whether responding to a major loss or providing routine cleaning, the same level of care is applied. Having one coordinated team allows work to move forward smoothly without sacrificing attention to detail. From urgent situations to planned maintenance, the focus remains on quality workmanship and leaving each space better than expected.

Insurance Claims
How does the process work?
We guide you through every step of your insurance claim, from initial contact to final restoration, making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
How does my deductible work?
Your deductible is the portion of the claim you are responsible for paying. We’ll explain how it applies to your specific restoration project.
How does insurance coverage work?
Your insurance policy determines what damages are covered. We help you understand your coverage and work directly with your provider to handle the claim.
How do insurance payments work?
Payments typically come from your insurance provider based on the approved claim. We work with your adjuster to ensure accurate and timely payment for the services performed.
How do we get paid? How does the contractor get paid?
We coordinate directly with your insurance company, so you don’t have to worry about the payment process. Once the work is approved, payment is handled through the insurance claim.
Services
How many days are the fans on?
The drying fans remain on until the property is fully dried, which depends on the extent of the water damage. We monitor moisture levels daily to ensure proper drying.
Is this mold?
Not all discoloration or spots are mold. Our team can inspect and identify any potential mold issues.
Is this black mold?
If mold is present, we can test to determine the type, including whether it is black mold, and advise on proper remediation steps.
Why does this wood look dark?
Darkened wood is often caused by water damage, moisture exposure, or natural aging. We assess the situation and recommend restoration or replacement if needed.
Do you test for mold?
Yes, we perform mold testing when necessary to accurately identify any issues and create a safe remediation plan.
Do you test for asbestos?
Yes, asbestos testing can be performed if there is any concern about materials containing asbestos in your property.
What should I do first after discovering damage?
The most important step is to prevent the damage from spreading. Calling a restoration professional early allows proper documentation, immediate mitigation, and guidance before costly mistakes are made.
Will my home be livable during restoration work?
That depends on the type and extent of damage. Some projects allow homeowners to remain in place, while others may require temporary adjustments. Expectations are discussed early so you can plan.
Do you handle both cleanup and repairs?
Yes. The same team manages mitigation, restoration, and reconstruction, so work stays coordinated, and progress is not delayed by handoffs.
Do you serve commercial properties as well?
Yes. As a full-service damage restoration company, no job is too small, and that goes for both our residential and commercial customers.
